SmartSD is the “go-to” market leader and most innovative player in a growing market thanks to a proprietary digital asset light operating model allowing efficient and low-cost scaling of the business. Its business model is based on a digitalised added-value model aimed at a fragmented market of installers (support, training, certification etc.) in a rapidly changing technology landscape with a diverse set of OEMs. Smile Invest sold its majority shareholding in 2024 to Cobepa and reinvested as a minority investor alongside the management team.
