Nc Medical and Hospidex join forces
Hospidex increases its expertise to further support Belgian and French hospitals and care institutions in their infection prevention policy with the acquisition of NC Medical.
NC Medical has successfully introduced Vernacare’s innovative infection prevention system to healthcare institutions in the Netherlands as exclusive distributor. The system consists of a range of disposable bed pans and wipes for patient washing and surface disinfection. These bedpans and cleaning wipes are disposed of safely and hygienically via a specially designed macerator. This drastically reduces the risk of infection and increases the caregiver’s working comfort and the dignity of the patient. With its in-house service office, technical department and logistics service, NC Medical provides a quality service in many hospitals and healthcare institutions in the Netherlands on a daily basis.
Now NC Medical is joining forces with Hospidex. Together they will be able to serve their customers in the Dutch market even better. Hospidex offers a comprehensive range of healthcare solutions in the Benelux and France, focusing on health and wellness at home, measuring vital body parameters, the prevention of bedsores and safely disposing of medical waste. In addition, Hospidex has been the exclusive distributor of Vernacare products in Belgium and France since 2020. With the acquisition of NC Medical, hospitals and healthcare institutions will now also be able to call on NC Medical’s longstanding expertise with these products to make further steps in their infection prevention policies.

Hospidex has been active in the Dutch market for many years, supporting the healthcare sector with innovative solutions from leading medical manufacturers. For example, it will soon supply 20 million syringes and 20 million Low Dead Space (LDS) needles for the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the Netherlands. With LDS needles, less residual liquid remains in the syringe, and more vaccine doses can be obtained from a vial.
