Combining an innovative nanofluidic processor on a chip and a compact reader, miDiagnostics can virtually measure any biomarker from a minimally invasive sample such as drops of fingerprick blood or swabs and enable fast, comprehensive and cost-effective health analysis, regardless of location. The company, spun out of an innovative cooperation between imec and Johns Hopkins University, is developing an extensive portfolio of tests for screening, diagnosis and monitoring of a wide range of health conditions. miDiagnostics is currently pilot testing its ultra-fast PCR Covid test for commercialization.
