Tenten Solar welcomes Smile Invest as partner for new growth phase

On April 5, Benelux investment firm Smile Invest takes a majority stake in Tenten Solar. Tenten Solar is a market leading player in the field of solar energy solutions in various customer segments. Smile Invest is taking over the stake from investor Quadrum Capital, alongside management.

Tenten Solar is a supplier of complete PV solar installations to private customers, housing corporations and companies. The company has a strong position in the Netherlands, making a major contribution to the sustainability agenda. Tenten Solar operates throughout the Netherlands and is physically located in Lichtenvoorde, Bodegraven and Tilburg. Smile Invest is acquiring the shares from investor Quadrum Capital, which has been involved with the company since 2019, alongside management. This keeps the current management team in place.

Berry Seesing (CEO), owner and director of the company since 2012, will remain active in his role and co-invest in the transaction alongside Smile: "The arrival of Smile Invest as a new investor marks the start of the next phase of our business.
